Quality installation is very important to ensure that
your water softener is working efficiently and correctly and with no leaks! We
guarantee all our installations and if an electrical socket is required, we can put one in and certify it in accordance with the new building regulations (Part P). We carry full liability insurance.
Our installation service is competitively priced (from £75 for a straight changeover) and usually takes a few hours depending on complexity. We can install water softeners not purchased from us. A water softener is usually located near the rising main, often in the cupboard under the sink (as the above picture shows - the softener is the Calmag twin tank) but can be installed outside in a weatherproof cabinet (we can supply this).
It is adviseable that one tap should provide hard water and this can either be your kitchen cold water tap or we can install a separate tap for this.
If you are planning to install the water softener yourself or have it done independently, we can give advice, and installation instructions are supplied with the softener. Be aware though that most electrical work in kitchens and bathrooms now has to be carried out by a registered electrician. We also stock all the fittings.
Why not consider getting a waste disposal unit at the same time as a water softener. The above picture shows a waste disposer next to the water softener and if both products are installed at the same
